Hire arts and crafts UGC creators to show your materials in use on your own website and channels. Describe the project, production style and files required. CreatorCall sources interested creators, while you agree the making process, delivery and usage rights.
Show paint flow, fabric drape, paper texture or tool handling through clear close-ups. Choose the characteristics that help customers understand the product and provide accurate material information to support the demonstration.
Make a short project tutorial
Commission a focused sequence showing materials, key steps and the finished piece. Decide which stages need real-time explanation and which can be shortened without making the process confusing or misleading.
Build a reusable process library
Plan overhead clips, material close-ups and finished-project shots for several brand placements. Specify the individual assets and editing rights so you receive footage that can be used as agreed.
Beyond audience size
Choose the craft your product needs.
Be specific about the details that would make a creator right for your product.
What would make a creator right for this particular campaign?
Look for relevant experience with the medium and tools. A creator needs to handle the materials confidently enough to produce the agreed project and explain the process.
Close-up production
Review portfolios for focus, lighting and unobstructed hand movements. Fine details need a filming setup that makes texture, technique and small components easy to see.
Project development
Decide whether the creator follows supplied instructions or develops the idea. Original design, pattern writing and testing can add work beyond the filming itself.
Time and ownership
Account for material delivery, preparation and drying or curing. Agree rights to the video, stills and any original design as distinct parts of the scope.

Example Creator Call
A paper-craft UGC Creator Call
Example: a craft brand needs a product-page tutorial using its card-making materials.
Project
Make one greeting card that demonstrates the supplied paper and embellishments.
Define the finished result and the techniques to show.
Creator fit
A paper-craft creator with clear overhead filming examples.
Review how they show small details and hand movements.
Files
One edited tutorial, agreed detail clips and a finished-card photograph.
Specify duration, formats and any raw footage.
Supplies
Brand provides the materials; additional tools and design work are agreed.
Allow time for delivery, practice and assembly.
Usage
Quote rights for the video, photographs and any original template separately.
Creator-account posting is not included unless separately agreed.
Know what you are paying for
A clear request. A clearer quote.
CreatorCall sourcing, content production and usage rights are separate parts of the budget. Specify the asset package and intended channels so creators can quote for the work you actually need.
Your sourcing charge depends on the Call type and selected requirements. See the cost before you submit.
Creator compensation
Agree the rate for the actual work with your chosen creator. Sourcing does not include their fee.
The full scope
Include product shipping, extra deliverables and the rights you need, so you can compare like-for-like quotes. The campaign budget guide works through an illustrative example.
A useful place to start
Your arts and crafts campaign checklist.
Use these points to prepare a clear Creator Call.
Choose the craft project and techniques to show.
List supplied materials and required tools.
Agree project development and testing work.
Specify final edits, detail clips and photographs.
Yes. Overhead or close-up footage can be well suited to making content. Specify whether you need voiceover, captions, real-time steps or a shorter process edit so the creator can quote accurately.
Can we turn the creator’s project into a downloadable template?+
Discuss that use before booking. Rights to publish a video do not automatically cover distributing an original pattern or template. Include the file, format and intended reuse in the agreed scope.
Does UGC include a post to the creator's own followers?+
UGC focuses on content delivered for your brand to use under the agreed terms. A post to the creator's own audience is a separate deliverable. If that is your main goal, consider Sponsored sourcing.
Can I request examples of a UGC creator's work?+
You can add a portfolio request to your UGC Call for an additional sourcing charge. Use the examples to assess the creator's filming, editing and presentation style before choosing whom to book.
Do I own every right to the finished content?+
Agree the rights you need with the creator before production. Specify channels, duration, paid advertising, editing and raw-file delivery where relevant. A content delivery does not by itself define an unlimited licence.
