Creator campaign workflow

Manage a creator campaign from shortlist to delivery

Finding a creator is the start of the work. Give every stage a clear owner, a useful document and an agreed next step. Here is how to move from a Creator Call to content you can review, receive and use.

Explore the guide

Start with this

  • A Creator Call sources interested creators. You choose who to work with and agree the booking.

  • A Campaign Brief tells a booked creator what to make. Keep it consistent with the agreed scope.

  • Growth and Scale include creator chat, file sharing, content approvals and revision requests.

Start with the kind of work you need

Set one primary objective before sourcing. A creator publishing to their audience, joining an affiliate programme and making assets for your brand are different assignments. Decide which you need, who owns the campaign and what evidence will help you judge the result.

SponsoredAudience, platform, content format and posting expectations.
AffiliateYour programme, offer, commission terms and how creators join. Define qualifying sales, attribution rules and when your brand will pay commission.
UGCThe assets your brand needs, where you will use them and whether any separate creator posting is required.

Write a Creator Call creators can answer

Use the Creator Call to describe the opportunity: the product, the type of creator, the work, budget and timing. CreatorCall handles sourcing and initial outreach, then returns interested matches. It is not a browsable marketplace.

Separate requirements from preferences. If the product must reach the creator before filming, explain that dependency. If a date is flexible, say so. A creator should be able to understand the offer without guessing what the collaboration involves.

  • Name the deliverables and any required platform or location.
  • Explain the product, intended customer and campaign purpose.
  • Identify anything that needs discussion before a quote is final.

Review interest before agreeing a booking

A shortlisted creator has expressed interest; that is not a confirmed booking. Review the available requirement evidence and recent work, then check whether their style and proposed approach fit this assignment.

Compare like for like. One quote might cover a finished video while another includes extra hooks, raw files or posting. Confirm availability, deliverables and usage before choosing. Keep unresolved questions beside each creator so the decision does not depend on memory.

Agree the work and assign the handoffs

Record the agreed fee, deliverables, usage, revision allowance, deadlines and payment arrangements. Decide who sends the product, answers questions and approves the work. A first-draft date and a final delivery or posting date should be separate commitments.

Growth and Scale provide creator chat and file sharing inside the campaign workflow. Use the conversation to confirm decisions and keep the relevant documents together. Buying credits does not upgrade a plan or unlock the live workflow.

Give the booked creator a Campaign Brief

The Creator Call helped you source someone. The Campaign Brief now explains the agreed production work: the audience, key message, deliverables, references, required facts, dates and review process.

Check the document against what you agreed before sending it. In the campaign workflow you can send a selected generated Campaign Brief or your uploaded PDF through the creator’s chat. If several versions exist, choose the specific document the creator should follow.

  • Distinguish required content from creative suggestions.
  • Make the next action and the person answering questions clear.
  • Explain changes to the agreed scope before asking for extra work.

Give feedback the creator can act on

On Growth and Scale, Request draft emails the creator a submission link. They can submit a file or a link without creating an account. Review it in Drafts, then approve it or explain the changes you need; the outcome returns to the chat thread.

Bring your team’s comments into one response. Name the part to change, the reason and the expected outcome. Keep required corrections separate from preferences, and check the agreed revision scope. Draft approval does not automatically release or block payment.

Illustrative feedback

“At 00:12, the on-screen product name differs from the packaging. Please use the name shown in the Campaign Brief. The opening demonstration works well; keep that sequence.”

Confirm what was delivered

Check the final files or published links against the agreement. Confirm the correct version, format and destination, then record any outstanding items. Keep your own copy of final assets and approvals; draft review storage is not a permanent content library.

For Sponsored work, check the agreed post is live. For UGC, check the files your brand will use. For Affiliates, confirm the creator’s programme setup and agreed activity; a sourced partner is not a promise of sales.

Finish with a decision for the next campaign

Choose a review date and collect evidence from the relevant source: platform insights, your affiliate programme or your own advertising and sales reports. Record the reporting period and missing information. Use comparable definitions when reviewing different creators.

Separate delivery from performance. Useful content, audience response and attributed purchases answer different questions. Write down what you would repeat, what you would change and why. Use the reporting tools you already have to make this review part of every campaign.
