AppLovin reporting for creator campaigns
Bring AppLovin advertising results into the creator campaign, with a clear distinction between creative-set sales, individual asset delivery and tracked store orders.

Start with this
A Report Key supplies reporting access; it does not install purchase tracking.
Creative-set revenue must not be presented as revenue for every asset inside it.
Creator commissions need a tracked destination and eligible store-order evidence.
Agree the content, sales source and tracking before launch.
Use the reporting connection
Where AppLovin is enabled in CreatorCall, connect the advertiser account using its Report Key and confirm the account returned. Enter the key only in the connection flow. This is reporting access, separate from AppLovin's campaign-management permissions; it does not authorize CreatorCall to change ads or spend money.
AppLovin's Web Reporting API supplies aggregate web-campaign data for this connection. A valid key and an empty new account can confirm access, but checking real results requires a campaign with advertising activity. Purchase tracking needs its own complete test.
Understand creative sets and assets
A creative set groups assets used by the campaign. CreatorCall keeps the creative-set report and asset report separate: the set can carry reported purchases and purchase value, while individual asset rows contain delivery figures such as spend, impressions and clicks. The current asset report does not establish which individual video generated each purchase.
Map the correct set to the creator collaboration and check which assets it contains. If several creators appear within a set, do not award its entire revenue to each one. The tracked commission flow does not automatically allocate mixed-creator sets. Reporting assignment also does not replace agreed advertising rights.
Keep the reporting basis attached
CreatorCall's current adapter selects click-only web reporting and reads purchase count and checkout value for AppLovin's selected reporting window. It uses UTC days and a USD reporting basis. Check the date range, currency and attribution mode before comparing figures with a dashboard view that includes views or uses another window.
AppLovin's window labels follow its own definitions; they are not interchangeable with a creator's contractual click window. Reach, three-second plays and asset-level purchase revenue are not supplied by this imported report. Leave unavailable figures visible as gaps rather than inventing an equivalent metric or a universal ROAS comparison.
Reporting is only one part of sales tracking
For an enabled creator-commission arrangement, map a single-creator creative set, agree the payment terms and use the designated tracked destination on a compatible connected store. Preserve the destination parameters and carry the tracking reference into the order. Store-order and refund updates supply the payment evidence; the Report Key does not create that connection.
AppLovin also requires its own click parameters to survive the journey for its measurement. Test the entire destination and checkout path. CreatorCall evaluates eligible order evidence under its agreed commission rules rather than turning AppLovin's aggregate sales into individual orders. A set mismatch, missing reference or mixed-creator allocation needs investigation, not a guessed payment.
Attribute the sale at the level you can support
A useful report can show which creative set is working without pretending that every asset has its own revenue figure. Payment requires a separate, eligible order record.
Illustrative example, not a customer result
One creator, several product edits
A homeware brand places one creator's video and images in a creative set. AppLovin reports sales for the set and delivery for its assets. A shopper follows the mapped destination and a connected-store order retains the tracking reference. That order can be assessed for commission. The set's reported revenue is not copied onto each video, image or order.
Validate with a real journey
Check the connected advertiser, reporting freshness, set membership and final landing page. Provider reporting and creator commissions have separate access and setup requirements. A successful key check proves neither advertising permission for the content nor complete attribution across browsers and devices.
- Confirm that redirects preserve both provider parameters and the CreatorCall tracking reference.
- Use a permitted end-to-end order test, including the later refund or adjustment path.
- Compare sales with their source labels intact; do not add AppLovin-attributed revenue to the same store's revenue.
