Start with this
Amazon Attribution measures eligible activity from links outside Amazon.
Reports provide attributed totals, not individual customer orders.
CreatorCall marketplace support and commission availability must be checked separately.
Agree the content, sales source and tracking before launch.
Check eligibility and CreatorCall availability first
Amazon Attribution is intended for eligible advertisers, including qualifying Brand Registry sellers and vendors. Availability depends on the marketplace and account. An ordinary Amazon shopping account or seller login alone does not establish access. Confirm the eligible advertiser profile and permission to use its Attribution data.
CreatorCall also has its own connection and regional limits. US connections currently support connection checks rather than imported sales totals or commission earnings. Amazon commission support in CreatorCall's new campaign workflow is not yet confirmed. Check availability before offering it to creators: a successful sign-in does not establish reporting or payout access.
Tag the traffic that sends shoppers to Amazon
Use Amazon Attribution tags on eligible destination links in creator posts or ads running outside Amazon. Preserve the assigned link and map it to the correct creator and campaign. Reusing one undifferentiated link across creators makes their contribution difficult to separate.
This connection is not a universal Amazon seller-data feed. It does not provide a replacement for Seller Central, individual order access or management of Amazon Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands or Sponsored Display campaigns. Those products have different purposes and access requirements.
Read the report as attributed daily totals
Amazon Attribution uses its own attribution method and window. Its guidance describes a 14-day last-touch model for eligible tagged clicks. That is separate from a creator agreement's earning dates and from any selectable click window used for a connected web store.
The CreatorCall Amazon reporting path groups attributed sales by creator reference and day. These are aggregate report rows, not verified individual purchases. Recent figures can change as reporting matures or is corrected. Check the report period and latest successful update before using a total to make a decision.
Define which product sales count
Distinguish promoted-product sales from brand halo: sales attributed to other products in the same brand. Total sales can include both. Name the basis in the report and any commission agreement; do not switch from promoted-only to a broader total without agreement.

The revenue basis changes the percentage calculation
Suppose a supported report shows 1,000 USD in promoted-product sales and 200 USD in brand halo. At an illustrative 10% agreed rate, promoted-only commission would be 100 USD; promoted-plus-halo would be 120 USD. These are alternative calculations, not amounts to add together. Eligibility, caps and later adjustments still apply.
Treat Amazon commission as a separate arrangement
Where an Amazon commission arrangement is available, it needs one agreed percentage per creator covering eligible Amazon-attributed links and ads. The cash fee remains separate. Confirm the account, marketplace, revenue basis, earning dates, cap, adjustment rules and settlement timing before acceptance.
Do not apply a fixed amount per store order to a daily total. Nor can these aggregates support the connected-store rule that compares two commissions on the same identified order and pays the higher once. Amazon's new-campaign commission arrangement should not be assumed available just because a legacy connection or report exists.
Keep Amazon results separate and explain the limits
Check the marketplace, currency, advertiser profile and creator-tag mapping. Validate a supported reporting journey before promising measured results. If reporting is unavailable or incomplete, show that state; a blank report is not proof of zero sales.
Do not add Amazon sales to ad-network claims and call the result deduplicated revenue. The same journey may appear in more than one report, and Amazon totals cannot be matched to Shopify or WooCommerce orders. Attribution describes assigned credit, not the number of extra sales the campaign caused.
