Commission is an optional addition to paid creator work.
Eligibility, attribution and the calculation are separate decisions.
Pending earnings, payable amounts and completed payments are not the same.
Agree the content, sales source and tracking before launch.
Agree the rules before the work.
A campaign can combine creator posts, content for your channels and optional commission. Every collaboration still includes cash compensation for the agreed work. The planned creator budget guides outreach; future sales commissions are additional, not a balance CreatorCall holds for the brand.
For a supported connected-store arrangement, specify a percentage of the agreed eligible revenue base or a fixed amount per eligible purchase. Link/code and paid-ad arrangements can have different rates, but neither becomes payable simply because a platform reports a conversion.
- Name the store, sales source and eligible products or exclusions.
- Agree the rate, currency, earning period and click window.
- State any cap, returns waiting period and payout method.
- Make the content and ad usage rights explicit; a commission offer does not grant them.
Start with the eligible sale, not a dashboard total.
The order must come through a supported source and have enough evidence to apply the agreement. The calculation uses that agreement's revenue base, exclusions and adjustment rules. Define treatment of discounts, shipping, tax and returns rather than assuming the gross checkout total is the commission base.
For new campaign arrangements, an eligible creator code takes priority, otherwise the last eligible tracked creator click receives credit. If two arrangements belong to that recipient for the same identifiable order, select the higher eligible amount once. Apply any agreed cap after the underlying entitlement is determined.

A percentage and a fixed reward
These are example creator rates, not CreatorCall platform charges. If the two routes belong to different creators, first apply the recipient rule; do not pick a creator simply because their rate is higher.
| Eligible arrangement | Calculation | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Link/code | $80 eligible base × 10% | $8 |
| Tracked ad, same creator | $12 per eligible purchase | $12 |
| Selected once for this order | Higher eligible amount | $12 |
Allow time for returns and adjustments.
The configured returns waiting periods are 30, 60, 90 days, agreed upfront. During that period a recorded commission can be pending rather than available for payout. A refund or cancellation can reduce the eligible amount under the agreement; it should leave an explanation, not silently disappear.
An upfront cap limits commission exposure. The remaining balance can constrain the final award, and a returned sale can change the cap balance while the earning period remains open. Check the accepted terms for the actual treatment. The cap is separate from the campaign's planned fixed creator budget.
Keep earning dates and payment dates separate.
The relaunch campaign model gives commission its own earning end, 3 months after campaign closure. That date limits new earnings; it does not erase eligible amounts already owed. A returns waiting period and the agreed payout process can extend beyond the earning end.
Payment status should distinguish pending, eligible for payment and paid. The available manual or automatic method, required payout setup and successful payment confirmation determine what happens next. CreatorCall's 3.5% payment service fee is separate from the creator's commission and also applies to commission payouts.
A useful commission record shows the supporting order reference, credited creator, applied rule and rate, revenue base, adjustments, cap effect and payment state. Customer personal details do not belong in the creator's explanation.
Treat Amazon as a separate arrangement.
Amazon Attribution supplies aggregate attributed sales, not the individual verified orders used by the store calculation above. Do not apply a per-purchase reward or claim order-level duplicate prevention from a daily total.
The proposed new-campaign Amazon arrangement is one agreed percentage across a creator's eligible Amazon links and ads, with its own scope and adjustments. Confirm regional reporting and new-campaign commission availability before offering it. An existing Amazon connection alone does not establish that this arrangement is available.
